DADU, November 5, 2026: Dadu Police has announced a comprehensive security plan to ensure the peaceful and safe celebration of the Hindu community’s annual religious festival, Diwali, which will be observed from November 7 to 11, 2026.
The security arrangements have been finalized on the directives of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dadu, Captain (Retd.) Saddam Hussain Khaskheli.
Under the plan, enhanced security measures will be implemented at all temples, places of worship, Hindu residential colonies and recreational areas across the district.
A total of 158 police personnel will be deployed in rotational shifts to provide round-the-clock security at temples. Special instructions have also been issued to establish security pickets at entry and exit points, conduct thorough searches and maintain strict surveillance.
Mobile patrols and motorcycle patrols will be intensified around Diwali celebration venues throughout the district. Police officers have also been directed to ensure smooth traffic flow and improved parking arrangements near temples.
To deal with any emergency situation, two reserve police platoons will remain on standby at the Dadu Police Headquarters at all times.
A dedicated police control room has also been established to ensure timely information-sharing and monitoring. It will remain operational 24 hours a day.
All Sub-Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs) and Station House Officers (SHOs) have been directed to closely supervise security arrangements within their respective jurisdictions and maintain continuous coordination with temple administrations and respected members of the Hindu community.
In his message, SSP Dadu Captain (Retd.) Saddam Hussain Khaskheli said that all minority communities living in Dadu are the responsibility of the police.
He assured the Hindu community that they could celebrate Diwali with complete religious enthusiasm, peace and confidence, adding that Dadu Police would remain on duty around the clock to ensure their safety and protection.
