Sindh Takes Major Step Towards Digital Healthcare with Launch of Electronic Medical Records System

Karachi: Sindh has taken an important step towards digitalizing its healthcare sector with the launch of the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) System.
Provincial Minister for Health Dr. Azra Fazal Pechuho and Health Secretary Tahir Sangi inaugurated the new system in Karachi.
The EMR system has been introduced to digitize and securely maintain patients’ medical records across Sindh. Under the new system, each patient’s medical history and treatment records will be stored digitally in a centralized data system.
The initiative aims to make patients’ medical information more organized and accessible, supporting better coordination and continuity of healthcare services.
