MPA Barrister appointed Chairman of BoG for Law Colleges affiliated with University of Sindh

KARACHI: Barrister Pir Mujeeb-ul-Haq, a Pakistan Peoples Party leader and Member of the Provincial Assembly, has been appointed chairman of the Board of Governors of law colleges affiliated with the University of Sindh, Jamshoro.
According to a notification issued by the Sindh government, Irfan Bughio, Muhammad Hashim Leghari, Altaf Junejo, Ali Raza Channa, Muhammad Waseem Shah, and Raja Jawad Sahar have been nominated as members of the board.
The board will also include official members, including the vice-chancellor of the University of Sindh, a judge nominated by the chief justice of the Sindh High Court, the secretary of the Law Department or a nominee, the vice-chairman of the Provincial Bar Council, the secretary or additional secretary of the School Education Department, and principals of the relevant government law colleges.
The principal of Makhdoom Muhammad Zaman Talib-ul-Moula Government Law College, Hala, will serve as the board's secretary.
The Board of Governors will oversee the administrative affairs, development projects, budgets, and standards of legal education at the affiliated law colleges.
According to the notification, the chairman and other nominated members will serve a three-year term.
