Karachi Police Arrest Key Member of Mobile Phone Snatching Gang, Recover 120 Phones

KARACHI : Taimuria Police in Karachi’s Central District have arrested a key member of an organized gang involved in mobile phone snatching and theft, recovering 120 mobile phones from the suspect’s possession.
According to Syed Saad Ali Spokesperson Inspector General of Police, Sindh that Sindh Inspector General of Police (IGP) Javed Alam Odho commended DIG West Irfan Baloch, SSP Central Dr. Imran Khan, and the Taimuria Police team for their successful operation.
The IGP directed investigators to question the arrested suspect to identify other members and facilitators of the gang and bring them to justice.
He also instructed the relevant authorities to take all necessary legal steps to return the recovered mobile phones to their rightful owners.
IGP Javed Alam Odho emphasized that recovering snatched and stolen property and returning it to its original owners would further strengthen public confidence in the police.
